Constructed of gilded and silvered tombak, the obverse consisting of an oval oak leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, topped by a Wehrmacht eagle clutching a mobile swastika, around a frontal depiction of a battleship cutting through waves, the reverse designer marked ADOLF BOCK and maker marked SCHWERIN, BERLIN, measuring 43. 97 mm (w) x 57. 00 mm (h), weighing 34. 6 grams, in extremely fine condition.
