Germany, Ordnungspolizei. An Early Police Dress Bayonet, Unit-Marked Long Version, By Paul Weyersberg & Co. Auction Archive A Second War Royal Air(Schutzpolizei Bajonett). An early and exceptionally well preserved Schutzpolizei (Municipal Police) dress bayonet, measuring 555 mm in total length when inserted into the scabbard. It features a 410 mm long polished magnetic steel blade with a sharpened tip and unspoiled edges, and with a fuller running the majority of the length of each side. Stamped onto the reverse ricasso is a makers mark of PAWECO for the firm of Paul Weyersberg & Co., Solingen.
