Starry Jasper polished slab SJ121 cla Asperia ashburtonia from the ProterozoicSJ121. A polished slab of Starry Jasper. Dimensions at widest points approximately 160 mm x 130 mm x 10 mm thick. Weighs 594 grams. Starry Jasper is a vibrant red jasper with intrusions of quartz veining along with splashes of silvery , metallic looking pyrite. It was collected many years ago from a large open cut gold mine at Reedys near Cue in Western Australia.
