Instituted in 1952, discontinued in 1991. Multi piece construction, insignia in silvered and gilt bronze with white enamels, mounted to a five pointed silver star base with multiple emanating rays, measuring 68 mm (w) x 65 mm (h), vertical pinback, intact enamels, semi dark patina, extremely fine. Footnote: The Order of the People's Army was instituted on January 1, 1952 and discontinued in 1991. It was awarded for services to
