Germany, Wehrmacht. A Cased Eastern People’s Bravery Decoration, First Class Gold Grade Archive 83 mm in diameter(Tapferkeitsauszeichnung fr Angehrige der Ostvlker I. Klasse in Gold). Instituted on 14 July 1942. (1942 1945 issue). An eight pointed star constructed of gilded zink, the obverse depicting a six leaved rosette, surrounded by a laurel wreath tied together at the bottom via a ribbon, the reverse with a barrel hinge and banjo style pinback meeting a flat wire catch, unmarked, measuring 49. 76 mm (w) x 49. 53 mm (h), weighing 26. 4 grams, accompanied by
