A rectangular clasp constructed of iron and gilded bronze, the obverse centre presents the interwoven intricate letters KR for Karl Rex, surrounded by a rectangular frame surmounted by the imperial crown, on a period original ribbon with a horizontal pinback, measuring 44. 27 mm (w) x 36. 75 mm (h), and in near very fine condition.
