The careful selection of vineyards has produced a wine that combines the licorice and black cherry of Frankland River Shiraz with the pepper and blackberry of cool climate Mount Barker Shiraz from the Great Southern, Western Australia. The individual batches were fermented in small open fermenters and then matured in a mixture of new and one year old French oak barriques.
