Constructed of gilded zinc alloy, the obverse consisting of a central circular laurel leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by a swastika, overlaid by a silvered winged bomb, flanked on each side by nine oak leaves, the wreath with dual integral loops accommodating a pendant consisting of a central radiant star flanked on each side by three laurel leaves, the reverse with a barrel
