Constructed of blackened bronze, the obverse consisting of an oval laurel leaf wreath, with a central Stahlhelm (Steel Helmet) bearing a mobile swastika, on top of crossed swords, on a pebbled field, the reverse with a barrel hinge and vertical pinback meeting a flat wire catch, unmarked, measuring 36. 74 mm (w) x 44. 27mm (h), weighing 12. 4 grams, in very fine condition.
