They rose to prominence in the early 1980s with their moody and melodic songs. By 1987, they had released their fifth album, a self titled effort that was a hit. Sadly things started to shift for the band as tensions rose and lead singer Ian McCulloch left the band. After more strained years and a hiatus, the band returned to form and has been active ever since. This original
