50's Silk Rose Straw Pillbox Hat bridal shower CONDITION: Fair to good vintageNavy blue straw pillbox hat from the 1950's. Body is a wide weave straw with a bright red silk rose attached to the side. Crown is a complete ivory silk fabric. Interior is finished with a tight white buckram and the standard petersham ribbon. Original sales tag was found with this hat giving it a purchase date of 9 1 1956 and an original price of $12. 98. No label. Excellent condition with no issues. Inner circumference is 21 1 2 inches.
